With over 35 years within the defence and construction sectors, Andrew draws from a wealth of leadership and management experience honed during his career within the Royal Air Force.

Initially, in his former role as Director of Defence for a large construction company, Andrew was responsible for all defence and security related activity.  Together with formulating the strategy for these sectors, he ensured the success of all projects from inception through to delivery and lead several defence and public sector frameworks.  Latterly, his remit was widened to encompass the management of Government Sectors including leading the Crown Commercial Services Framework.  He also assumed responsibility for the development, management and leadership of the Company’s Business Development and Marketing strategies.

At present his focus remains firmly on launching and nurturing his own consultancy business; bringing a diverse set of skills to support clients to win work, especially in the defence and security arena with its nuances/specialist requirements and challenging secure, operational environments.  Andrew is looking forward to collaborating with businesses, large and small where his skills in building relationships, identifying opportunities and developing growth strategies come to the fore.

Andrew was a founding member and former chair of BuildForce which, is an alliance of construction employers, industry bodies and service charities, supported by the Government.  Its aim is to connect Service Leavers and Veterans with job opportunities in construction and gives the construction industry access to a unique pool of Armed Forces talent; Andrew remains a member of the Steering Group.
